Rewarding
and fun – that best describes the PADI Rescue Diver course.
This course will expand your knowledge and experience level: Rescue
Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and
well being of other divers. Although this course is serious, it is
an enjoyable way to build your confidence.
In the PADI Rescue Diver course you’re about to enter the next stage
in which your focus broadens to include other divers and people around
you. The PADI Rescue Diver program prepares you to help prevent, and
if necessary, manage dive emergencies, minor and major, with a variety
of techniques. Your skills and confidence as a diver will be enhanced.
Most certified Rescue Divers look back on their rescue training as
one of the most challenging – sometimes demanding – and therefore
most rewarding scuba programs. The subject is serious but
the training is fun.
PADI Rescue Diver Course Prerequisites:
Must
be PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Certified or equivalent, and have
completed a sanctioned CPR course within the past 24 months. We
also offer PADI's Emergency First Responder course just prior or
during the rescue class if needed (at additional cost) The minimum
age for a full Rescue Diver certification is 15 years old. For
those aged between 12 and 15 years old there is the PADI Jr. Rescue
Diver Certification available.
