This
is your first step into a whole new world of fun!
In this class you will
learn basic and safe scuba diving taught through academic
training, confined and open water practice sessions.
Academic
Each scuba module consists of Home Study, lecture,
knowledge review and quiz. With the home study portion you
watch a video, read the manual, and complete the knowledge
reviews. This way you spend less time in the classroom and
more time underwater. After the Academic sessions you will
have a final scuba exam.

Confined
Water Practice Sessions (Pool)
Our pool sessions are
completed in a large 13ft deep pool which is ideal for dive
training, unlike most pools in Florida where you have 5 -6
feet of depth. The confined water practice sessions are also
broken down into 5 modules. With each new skill you learn,
the more comfortable you will become with scuba and breathing
underwater. There is also a short swim test and survival float.
Open
Water sessions
During the Open Water Dives, we use all of the scuba
information and skills that you have mastered during the academic
and pool sessions. We complete our Open Water training dives
in Key Largo or Ft. Lauderdale, FL*. where the dives will
take place on two separate days, with two dives on each day.
Here you will demonstrate the skills that you learned in the
pool and also have the opportunity to take a tour of a reef
or shipwreck full of tropical fish.
After
certification is completed, you will have the ability to dive
without an instructor, you can purchase or rent air tanks
and other scuba equipment. In other words, you're a certified
diver!
